Scripture for the day: Job 9:33-35

If only there was a mediator between us,
Someone who could bring us together.

The mediator could make God stop beating me,
And I would no longer live in terror of His punishment.

Then I could speak to him without fear,
But I cannot do that in my own strength.

Job, even in his suffering, is prophesying the coming of a messiah, the perfect lamb of God who would take away the sins of the world.

He would be the mediator, the one and only mediator between man and God ( 1Timothy 2:5, John 14:6)

He would be stripped, beaten, and flayed for our sins, the one true eternal offering- by whose stripes we are healed! (1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:5)

And in his strength and as his righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21) we would enter the throne room of grace, with confidence and without fear! (Hebrews 4:16)

That Messiah, Jesus Christ the mediator has come. Hallelujah !!

John 3:17

His finished work at the cross has made us worthy of every blessing on earth and in heaven, now and forevermore. (Philippians 4:19)

In Him, we have life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10)

Thank you, Abba for taking us in. For transferring us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of Your Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins! ( Colossians 1:13-14)

Worthy is the Lamb of God !!

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen!
