Come December and you know you need a moment to sit back and take inventory of every awesome thing that took place through the year. I call it awesome, yes, cause as a Child of God, everything has worked together for your good! You don’t see it yet, it is not materialized now, but it will, and believe the Word when it says that God “has great plans for you, plans to give you hope and a future!” (Jeremiah 29:11)
I Am Gonna Sing of the Goodness of God!
This morning as I played off my worship songs at random, I found this gem-
Each lyric is anointed, invoking the most intimate emotions as it takes the listener back to the valley of darkness where the shepherd came through and rescued them.
Each word struck home as I remembered the countless times I failed this year and yet my Savior came through to rescue me. Had it not been for the goodness of God, His relentless mercies, I would have perished for my foolishness.
A Faithful God, a Loving Father
“All my life You have been faithful
All my life You have been so so good…
With every breath that I am able
I am gonna sing of the goodness of God!
Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me!”
Surely, His goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of my Father forever. (Psalm 23:6)
Are you ready to experience the goodness of God today? Listen, for He is nearer to you than your breath. His voice calls out, deep unto deep- He is closer than you can think or imagine.
